Spector Charged Second Degree Murder

The jury found Phil Spector, legendary music producer, guilty of murder in second degree in shooting to death of the actress Lana Clarkson. This verdict will send him for at least 18yrs of imprisonment. The verdict was arrived after 30 hrs of deliberation; the jury did not choose the option of involuntary manslaughter. The prosecutors informed the jury that Spector is a very dangerous man who had a history of frightening women with guns. They had also presented in front of the jury testimony from five women who informed that they were threatened by him on gun point and that they had even been held hostage in his home.
